Weekend Update 12/12/2015 – Ukraine & Syria.

“Military men are just dumb, stupid animals to be used as pawns in foreign policy.”

Henry Kissinger.

Nearly two years on, below the chaos, currency collapse and civil war, America’s War Party has wreaked on hapless Ukraine following their botched coup in Kiev. US  Deputy Secretary of State Vicky Nuland’s, “ F**k the EU”,  handpicked patsy Prime Minister “Yats,” is busy fighting with Vicky Nuland’s “ F**k the EU”, handpicked Quisling Puppet president Poroshenko, who’s busy making war on his own people for the benefit of a foreign power, the USA.

If a really hot civil war breaks out, continental Europe better ready itself for another wave of refugees headed for Germany again. The only saving grace nominally they’re mostly Christian, and in theory at least, won’t be trying to overthrow the German nation. In fact many of their ancestors worked for Germany back in the 1940s.

“Covert action should not be confused with missionary work.”

Brawl erupts in Ukrainian parliament as MP attempts to carry out prime minister

Fighting breaks out among members of Ukraine's ruling coalition after a member of President Petro Poroshenko's bloc physically picked up prime minister Arseny Yatsenyuk and pulled him from the podium

2:10PM GMT 11 Dec 2015
A fight erupted in Ukraine's upper house of parliament on Friday when a member of the legislature attempted to drag prime minister Arseny Yatsenyuk from the floor's podium after giving the government leader a bouquet of flowers.

Mr Yatsenyuk was delivering an annual report recapping the work of his government when a deputy representing president Petro Poroshenko's political bloc in parliament approached the stage to drag Mr Yatsenyuk away. The incident sparked a wider fist fight between deputies on the floor.

Mr Yatsenyuk's own faction in parliament has been at odds with a group loyal to Mr Poroshenko amid growing concern and public discontent over Ukraine's still-rampant levels of corruption. Mr Yatsenyuk in his speech insisted the government does not have the power to prosecute corruption cases.

“Who prosecutes? Prosecutors do. So who is in charge? The General Prosecutor's office. The president appoints the prosecutor general” Mr Yatsenyuk was quoted as saying in his report by the Kiev Post, a local English-language newspaper.

Meanwhile, outside the parliament building, up to 1,000 protesters gathered to demand the resignation of the Ukrainian government and its head — Mr Yatsenyuk — according to Russian media reports on Friday. The Poroshenko Bloc in Parliament has also called for his resignation.

But responding to a question from a Poroshenko Bloc MP, the Prime Minister said he would only resign if the legislature voted to remove him from his post.

The head of the Poroshenko Bloc, Yury Lutsenko, later apologised to Mr Yatsenyuk for the brawl.

“Being a supporter of Yatsenyuk's resignation myself, I believe that the flowers incident and fight will only increase his chances to stay in the position,” Mr Lutsenko wrote on his Facebook page.

So far regime change 21st century style, doesn’t seem to work like it did in the good old days, at least anywhere it’s been tried so far. From Afghanistan to Libya, the CIA and USA military seem to have lost their knack.  Nowhere is this more apparent than in Syria. Pay attention now, this is how complicated 21st century Syria regime change crusade has developed.

America is allied with Turkey. America is allied with and arming the Kurds. Turkey is at war with and bombing the Kurds. Some of the Kurds are at war with Turkey. America and all of the Kurds are at war with ISIS. Turkey is arming and funding ISIS by buying their stolen Syrian crude oil. America and Britain are allied to “70,000” anti-Assad “moderate” terrorists.  Most of the 70,000 moderates, aren’t very moderate to anyone not Sunni moslem, and are allied with ISIS in fighting Assad and any non-Sunni moslems they come across.

America is allied with Iraq. Turkey is occupying part of Iraq in support of ISIS and stolen ISIS oil. Iraq has asked America to move the Turks on, though Uncle Scam didn’t seem to be listening last week. Iraq has now asked the UN and Russians to move the Turks out. Russia is allied with Assad, Iraq, and Iran in fighting the 70,000 immoderate NATO terrorists and ISIS. Turkey is almost at war with Russia. Russia is busy bombing Turkey’s ISIS stolen oil supply in response. In Iraq and Syria, Britain and France are bombing anything the Americans or Russians or Turks miss. The Israelis occasionally bomb things in Syria too, just to keep their hand in.

Meanwhile sensibly, most Syrians have moved into Lebanon, Jordan, Turkey, Greece, and Germany, to get out of the way of all the bombing. Though the favoured destination for most is Germany and its wealthy welfare state. President Obama has promised to take in 100,000 “vetted” nice Syrian refugees. Everyone else in America has said no, no matter how nice. So far no Syrian refugee, nice or not, has made it to America. They don’t have big enough boats, I suppose. Greek islands is about as far as they can get. So far only hapless Syrians have been killed or hurt in this modern CIA/Washington made catastrophe, plus one luckless Russian pilot murdered by the Turks, America’s ally. To be continued, unfortunately.

“The two sides need to absorb the history of the decade before World War I, when the gradual emergence of an atmosphere of suspicion and latent confrontation escalated into catastrophe. The leaders of Europe trapped themselves by their military planning and inability to separate the tactical from the strategic.”

Henry Kissinger.
